He was predeceased by: his parents, James Simmons and Beverly Simmons; and his siblings, Karen and James "Jimmy" Simmons of Somers Point. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Shyanne Madrid (Richard) of Burbank, Anthony of Lancaster and Brayden of Lancaster; his great grandchild Lilyana of Burbank; and his siblings, Cindy Vannoni (Vince) of Somers Point, Scot Simmons (Tina) of Somers Point, Chris Simmons of Somers Point and Michael Simmons of Somers Point.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and restrictions, a memorial service and celebration of Gary's life will be held at a later date.
