He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter R. Chattin and Margaret Chattin (Scully); his sister Marie Mawson; and his children, Donald A. Chattin, Jr. and Joanne Somers.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Edna Chattin (Nee Lutz); and his children, David A., Stephen J., Robert W., Mark and Karen L. Chattin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
