He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Aloysius Levy Sr. and Rose (Kelly); his grandson Joseph Edwin Poole; and his sisters, Rose Menello and Regina Fiedler.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen (Joyce); his children, Joseph Daniel Levy (Cait), Ellen Mary Sinclair (Michael), Maureen Ann Poole (Robert) and Michael Patrick Harrar (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Makayla Ann Levy, Brayden Andre Joseph Levy, Makenzie Joyce Levy and Ryan Michael Poole.
