He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Rafferty III and Catherine "Cass" Rafferty; and his siblings, Patrick (Linda), Hughie (Kitty Gallagher) and Michael (Kathy).
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Collins (Christopher) and James Rafferty (Allyson); his granddaughters, Evangelina, Francesca, Carmella and Constance; and his siblings, Martin, Catherine Narducci (Michael), Anne Peeke, Joseph (Barbara) and Mary Francis (Brian). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
