He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph Messina. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Messina (Colletti); his children, Gina Messina (Christopher) of Lhery and Matthew Leon Messina (Rebecca Butz); and his sister Diane Messina Pontillo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Rebuilding Fund of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 787 Franklin Lake Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417, which suffered a devastating fire in 2019.
