He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Duryee and Emilie Duryee (Funke); his brother Jefferson Duryee of Hastings; his nieces, Mary Anne Schafer (Thomas) of Rumson, NJ and Renee Duryee of Santa Monica, CA; his nephew Ken Kozin (Carol Brander) of Clayton, NY; his grandson Thomas Schafer of Red Bank, NJ; his son Kevin Schafer (Christine Salvaggio) of Fair Haven, NJ; and his great grandchildren, Owen and August.
