She was predeceased by: her parents, Hendrik and Cornelia; her sister Marijke Van Vooren; and her sister-in-law Joan. She is survived by: her husband Herman Sluyter of Oakland, NJ; her brother Hendrik of Las Cruces, NM; her niece Cindy Gaechter (John) of Hampton, NJ; her nephews, Richard Klein of Sussex, NJ and James Klein (Veronica) of Oak Point, Texas.; and her children, Scott Van Vooren (Cathy) of Romansville, PA, Danielle Ives (Chris) of New Hope, PA and Kelli Harrison (Mike) of Lititz, PA.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery (830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940).
