We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2018, at the age of 94, Ruth Laufer (Oakhurst, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Laufer; her parents, Rubin Epstein and Fanny Epstein (Saunders); and her siblings, Harry Epstein, Jean Schwartz and Thelma Bromberg.
She is survived by: her children, Sam Laufer (Barbara) of Fair Haven, William Laufer (Angela) of Chester, Margaret Laufer (Glenn Intile) of Amesbury, Brian Egolf of Mass, Amy Laufer (Patti Leahey) of Long Branch, Ruby Laufer of Little Silver and Mark O'Connell of Rumson; her grandchildren, Michael Laufer, Kate Laufer Gorenstein (Jeffrey), David Laufer, James Laufer, Alexis Laufer, Marisa Huthwaite (Ryan), Amanda Laufer Camelotto (Andrew), Chelsea Laufer, Marlon Egolf (Julia), Julian Egolf, Benjamin O'Connell, Pete O'Connell and Dixie O'Connell; and her great grandchildren, Will Gorenstein, Sienna Konkus, Madison Konkus, Charlotte Huthwaite, James Huthwaite and Olivia Camelotto.
