He is survived by: his wife Laura VanDenBerg; his nieces and nephews, Alyson Wade, Julia VanDenBerg, Carolyn Rugel, Christopher Henshaw, Brandon Brown, Timothy Heidler, Jared Cooney, Robert Heidler, Jake VanDenBerg and Matthew Rugel; and his great-nephew Alexander Glen Cooney.
