He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oak Ridge and NJ; his wife Kathleen Bowden (Zimmermann); his stepchild Tori Martinez (Robert); his children, Jennifer Monaco and Kevin Bowden (Ashley); his grandchildren, Kira, Leo, Madison and Abigail; and his brother George Bowden (Connie). He was also cherished by four nephews and one niece.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
