He is survived by: his parents, Carmen Rivera (Roman) and Jose Rivera of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; his wife Laura R. Rivera; his daughters, Laura Poirier (Todd) of Oak Ridge, NJ and Michelle Rivera of Lake Parsippany; his grandchildren, Jake T. Poirier and Paige L. Poirier; and his siblings, Orlando Rivera (Edith) of Port St, Luis A. Rivera (Raynette L.) of Matthews and Diane Vargas (Carlos). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
