He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Smath and Godfrey Smath; and his brothers, John, Joseph and Jerome Smath.
He is survived by: his wife Julia "Roberta" Arabia Bacigalupo; and his stepchildren, Roberta Kleckner, Louise Perez, Anthony Bacigalupo III and John Bacigalupo. He is also survived by grandchildren and his three adored great grandchildren.
