He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen M. Dugdale and George E. Dugdale; his parents-in-law, Elizabeth Carlisle and James Carlisle; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Chiurazzi and James Carlisle.

He is survived by: his wife Jill; his children, Derrick Dugdale, Sean Dugdale and Heather Schinn (Joseph); his grandchildren, Elizabeth "Lily" Schinn and Meadow Schinn; his sisters, Diane Chiurazzi, Mary Ravallo (Guy) and Veronica Hopson (Gunnar); his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Carlisle, Leann Frank, Lauren Goodwin, Elaina Chiurazzi, Philip Carlisle, Bradford Carlisle and Gunnar Hopson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brittany Carlisle, Indigo Goodwin, Everett, Owen and Landon Frank.
