He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick F. Haffer, Sr. and Ada (Thompson); and his sister Ruth Van Slooten. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Krasco; his daughters, Joyce Schwartz (John) of Oak Ridge, NJ and Nancy Tasker (James) of Oak Ridge, NJ; his granddaughters, Shannon Salerno (Jason) of Mahwah, NJ and Heather Tasker (Joseph Stracquatanio); and his great grandchild Kristy Marie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
