With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph A. Iovine Sr. of Nutley, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 7, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Iovine and Edith Iovine. He is survived by: his children, Dana Iovine, Jennifer Iovine, Lisa Polewka (Jeffrey), Anna-Melissa Pera (Robert) and Joseph Iovine, Jr. (Elise); his brother Luke Iovine, Jr. (Joanne); his grandchildren, Gianna Zocco, Ralph Zocco, III, Ava-Loren Polewka, Dean Polewka, Brandon Polewka, Giuliana Iovine and Joseph Iovine; and his great grandchildren, Stella Sanzari and Ella Polewka.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Biondi Funeral Home (540 Franklin Ave, Nutley, NJ 07110). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Family Church (28 Brookline Ave, Nutley, NJ 07110).
