He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scelfo and Nancy Scelfo. He is survived by: his wife Jane Scelfo; his sons, David Scelfo (Michelle) and Andy Scelfo (Rita); his grandchildren, Katelyn, Lauren and Jackson Scelfo; and his brother Richard Scelfo (Pat).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in John's memory to Hackensack River Keepers or Nutley Family Services Bureau.
