He is survived by: his children, Robert Dennerlein (Carla), Jean Marie Petro (Christopher), William Merriman (Jennifer) and Richard Merriman (Traci); his grandchildren, Rob, Mary Kate, Kristen, Sara, Jessica, Kelly, Emily and Patrick; and his siblings, Elizabeth Gallagher (James), William Merriman (Christine) and Michael.
