He was predeceased by: his father Frank Vitale; and his brother-in-law James. He is survived by: his wife Susan Rose Frederick-Vitale; his mother Marjorie Vitale; his siblings, Ellen Vitale and Frankie Vitale (Catherine); his siblings-in-law, Robert, Thomas and Debra; his nephew Matthew; and his pet Tessa.
