He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Nelson and Joan T. Nelson; and his sister Kris. He is survived by: his siblings, Joan T. Nelson (Glenn Westman) and Richard J. (Debi); his nephews, William, Jace and Aidan; and his niece Lola.
