He was predeceased by: his sisters, Sarah Flanagan and Imelda Flanagan; and his brother-in-law John Neville. He is survived by: his wife MaryEllen; his children, Tara Henrici (Steven), Hugh Ryan Flanagan (Candice) and Megan Lewis (Marc); his grandchildren, Steven, Brendan (Lauren), Sarah, Caroline, Mariah, Fiona and Liam; his sister Patricia Traudt; and his siblings-in-law, Denise, Garry McElroy, Michael and Ilva Neville.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pizzi Funeral Home (120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ 07647). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's RC Church (199 Walnut St, Northvale, NJ 07647). A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Rockland Cemetery (201 Kings Hwy, Sparkill, NY 10976).
