He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Matteo; his sister Lillian Tacconelli; and his daughter Tina Pomante. He is survived by: his father Emilio Pomante; his brother John Pomante; his wife Barbara; his children, Michael, Robert, Michele Vandetty and Lisa Jaffe; his grandchildren, Lisa Vandetty, Gina Vandetty, Krista Vandetty, Danielle Jaffe and Andrew Jaffe; his nieces, Amy Orner, Robin Gilroy and Kelly Collas; and his nephew Todd Gray.
