She was predeceased by: her goddaughter Samantha "Sammi" Davie Bye; her brother Taylor; and her grandparents, William Schwiers, David and Florence Bye.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Taylors, Samanthas, Cris Diaz, Kristin, Lia, Diana, Kayleigh, Kevin, Mike and Paul; her parents, LeeAnne Bye and Allen Bye; her siblings, Amanda Eisenbeis (Kollin) and Matthew Bye (Samantha); her niece Adeline Samantha Davie Eisenbeis; her goddaughter Lillian Carla Eisenbeis; her grandmother Elmslie "Anne" Schwiers; and her friend Susan Howard of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
During the COVID pandemic, she taught herself to sew and use an embroidery machine, her first attempts at masks quickly led to a desire to make memory bears.
Donations may be made in Lauren's memory to the Atlantic County Humane Society, The Ocean City Humane society or by performing an act of kindness or generosity to someone less fortunate than yourself.
