She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francisco Astacio and Juana Lleras Astacio; her aunt Carmen; her uncle Angel Lleras; her husband Edward; her children, Angela Ailes (Will), Chandra Anaya and Edward Thompson (Cathy); her grandchildren, Isaiah, Nessa, Angie, Joey and Maya; and her siblings, William Lleras (Linda), Johnny Lleras (Glicevel), Louie Lleras (Monin), Julie Lleras (Charlie), Neida Lleras (Alfred), Cucho Lleras, Olga Lleras, Gladys Lleras, James Astacio (Dee), Linda Newman (Bruce) and Ralph Davila (Remy).
