He was predeceased by: his brothers, Alexander and William; and his parents, Alexander Whyte and Adaline Whyte (Young). He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Whyte (Moore); his sister Barbara Shicks; and his sister-in-law Helen Smith (Monroe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including the children.
