With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Charles O'Dowd Sr. of Northfield, New Jersey, born in Pleasantville, New Jersey, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabella Quinn and John O'Dowd; his wife Rosemary A. O'Dowd; and his son James Patrick. He is survived by: his siblings, Jack (Delores), James (Teresa), Frank (Barbara), Mary, Dolly Tague (James) and Kathleen Ewing (James); his grandchildren, Eugene C. III (Jessica), Christopher (Alicia), Jeffrey (Pamela), Mary (Matt) and Patrick; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Morgan, Reily, Sam and Ellie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home (1650 New Rd, Northfield, NJ 08225). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
