He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Lee Mathis Sr. and Louise Harper Mathis; and his brother Wilson "Moose" Lee Mathis Jr.. He is survived by: his pet Sarah; his nephew Wilson Lee Mathis III of Barrington; his niece Sheryl Ann Murtaugh of Audubon; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Mathis of Audubon; his close friend Paul Leo Scully III of Wildwood Crest; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan, Mackenzie, Meredith, Karen, Stephanie, Adam, Brian and Zachary.
