Sarte of North Plainfield, New Jersey, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away at the age of 89, on November 9, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Doyle and Frances C. Doyle (Eganey); her stepmother Katherine Marie Doyle; her sister Patricia Perkins; and her grandson Ryan Rhoads.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Sarte, Sr. of Joseph's Church; her children, Beverly MacGorman (Doug) of Warren, Kenneth Sarte Jr. (Denise) of Bridgewater, Kevin Sarte (John) of Wall Township and Barbara Rhoads (Trent) of South Plainfield; her grandchildren, Douglas MacGorman (Kimberly), Kristen MacGorman Boylan (Brendan), Matthew, Christopher Sarte, Andrew Rhoads and Hannah Rhoads-Hingley (Ashley Peter); her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Brady, Landon Boylan, Jackson and Alexander MacGorman; and her siblings, Katherine Mary Doyle and James M. Doyle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home (233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen, NJ 08812). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Luke Email (300 Clinton Ave, North Plainfield, NJ 07063). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery (1734 Clinton Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080).
