With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Jean Briggs-Wong (North Plainfield, New Jersey), born in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Sylvia G. Lipford; and her sister Mabel E. Curry. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly R. Briggs-Wiggins and Shon D. Briggs; her son-in-law Earnest Wiggins Jr.; her grandchildren, Alexa'Lexie'Briggs, Earnest Cardell'Man'Wiggins III, Brooke Briggs and Sylvia'Bopp'Wiggins; and her friends, Abigail Rouland, KatieMae Zackery and Katherine Drakeford.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital in Martha's honor.
