She was predeceased by: her parents, Joao Filipe and Juliana Martins Duarte of Cabanas; and her brother Zeca Filipe. She is survived by: her children, Sonia (Rick Ballesteros) and Vasco (Judy Sukovich); her husband Steve; her grandchildren, Juliana, Sara Ballesteros and Vasco Viana Jr.; and her brother Vasco Manuel (Margarida). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
