He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Ann Loesch (Jack), Diane Brand (Paul) of Toms River, Richard Zekas (Diane), Joann O'Keefe (Charles) and Joseph G. Zekas Jr.; his wife Sherry of South Plainfield; his siblings, Mary Ann Swayze, Ronald Zekas and Laurence Zekas; his grandchildren, Jessica Stieg (Charles), Sara Loesch, Richard Zekas Jr., Lauren Zekas, Christopher O'Keefe, Kyle O'Keefe, Joseph A. Zekas and Nicole Zekas; and his great grandchildren, Colin Stieg and Thomas Stieg.
