It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Novak of North Plainfield, New Jersey, born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Earl Brown; and her brother Donald Brown of Elmira. She is survived by: her brothers, Kenneth Brown of Georgia and Earl Brown of Georgia; her daughter Dr. Deborah Edelman of Essex; her granddaughters, Kiersten Elizabeth Edelman of Fort Collins, Jennifer Alane Wollyung of Packwaukee, Sarah Katelyn Edelman of Rhode Island and Katherine Anne Edelman of Stonington Connecticut; her stepgrandchildren, Carol Deebel of Ringtown and Robert Wollyung of Oxford; her stepgreat-granddaughter Monica Guinn of Bloomsburg, PA; her nieces, Linda Brown Hager of Chemung, NY and Pam Edelman of Gaithersburg, MD; and her nephew Richard Edelman of Hillsborough, NJ..
