As we bid adieu to Sharon's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sharon has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her significant other Susan D'Amelio; her mother Joan Post (Charles Post); and her siblings, Shirley Donnelly, Charles Post and Mark Post. She is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews, and great-grandnephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial (530 High Mountain Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church (18 Zabriskie St, Haledon, NJ 07508). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (52 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church Food Bank or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
