He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Peter Botbyl, Jeffrey Botbyl (Leida), Rick Botbyl (Liesl) and Sharon Botbyl; his grandchildren, Ganelle (Jon), Matthew, Alyssa, Greta and Elizabeth; and his sisters, Betty Tolsma and Ruth DeVries.
