It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael S. Leonessa of North Haledon, New Jersey, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Thomas Leonessa; and his daughter Lori Leonessa McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Marie Leonessa; his daughter Marissa Leonessa of Hawthorne; his grandchildren, Gillian and Caleigh McCarthy; and his siblings-in-law, Richard and Helen Metallo of Fairfield. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
