With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Chaparian of North Haledon, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on September 8, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former spouse Claire Chaparian (Hamersma); and his daughter Karen Klein. He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Clark (Mark) of North Haledon, Cindy Saunders (Bill) of Hawthorne and Kristen Cross (Kevin) of Charlottesville, Virginia.; his spouse Duane Klein; his grandchildren, Nate Klein, Rachael Klein, Jeff Clark, Matt Clark, Dave Saunders, Alex Saunders, Charlie Cross and Teddy Cross; and his siblings, Armen Chaparian of Midland Park and Laura Chaparian of Bedford, Texas..

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Villa Marie Claire, Saddle River, NJ.
