He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Sasso and Maria Sasso; his wife Anna; his daughters, Lynn Vaccaro (Anthony) of North Haledon, Lori Greyshock of North Haledon, Lisa Sasso (Joseph Stacewicz) of Lakeland and Lesli Sasso Fabris (James) of Kiawah Island; his grandchildren, Anthony, Alexandra Vaccaro, Isabella Rosati and Elle Sherin; and his great grandchildren, Julianna and Aiden Vaccaro. He is also survived by his wife and daughters.
