He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry DeKorte and Matilda DeKorte; his wife Anita DeKorte; his children, James DeKorte (Maryann) of Hawthorne and Jeanne Veenstra (Gary) of North Haledon; his sister Ruth Platenberg; and his niece Maryann Stuessi.
