He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude (Vermaas); and his granddaughter Amanda. He is survived by: his sons, John (Kathleen) of Wyckoff, Robert (Julie) of Allendale and Mark (Heather) of Wyckoff; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Erin, Sara, Nate and Madeleine; and his sister-in-law Trina Borst.
