She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jasper Koster and Saartje Koster; her husband Walter Hoogmoed; her children, Evelyn Florit (Michael) of Prospect Park, Marie Douma, Walter Hoogmoed of Riverdale, Richard Hoogmoed (Nancy) of Hawthorne and Arthur Hoogmoed (Patricia) of West Milford; her siblings, Jennie Boer and Jasper Koster of North Haledon; and also Mary. She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
