It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard LaPorta of North Haledon, New Jersey, who passed away on August 27, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia Grosso of North Haledon; his stepdaughter Danielle Mastrogiovanni; his stepgrandchildren, Gianni, Luca and Rio; his nieces and nephews, Gina LaPorta of Cedar Grove and Damon LaPorta of Florida; and also, Giavonni Escamilla and Bernice Capaldo. He was also cherished by several cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated.
