He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Scanlan and Joe Burke; his son Thomas; and his brothers, Michael, Joe (Barbara), Bill (Dorothy) and Jerry (Mary Ann).
He is survived by: his wife AnnaRe (Walsh); his daughters, Bridgette Burke, Maureen Flocco (John) and Elizabeth Sharkey (Raymond); his stepdaughter Jeanine Walsh Palinkas (Michael); and his siblings, Margaret Gardner (Thomas), Mary Monaghan (Charles) and John (Patricia). He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Evoy Funeral Home (3218 Bayshore Rd, Cape May, NJ 08204). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
