He is survived by: his parent Alice Bates; his siblings, John Bates, Linda Billingiere, Susan Schmanek and William Bates; his children, Shannon Zirpoli, James Mundy (Mandy), Lindsy Casey (Justin) and Bethany Foley (Brian); and his grandchildren, Julia, Matthew, Gabriel, Blake, Brecklyn, Luke and Garrett.
