He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luigi Freda and Philomena Freda; his wife Miriam Freda; his sons, Louis Freda (Elina) and Jason Freda (Susie); and his grandchildren, Annalise Freda, Louis Freda, Jacob Sheldon, Andrew Freda and Jamie Freda.
