He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marie Gilbert and Casper Gilbert (Charles); his wife Florence Gilbert; his children, Cynthia Desch (Charles), David Gilbert, Susan Jalbert (Bob) and Scott Gilbert (Lori Gubala); his brother John C. Gilbert (Frances); his grandsons, Chad Desch and Timothy John Desch; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Johann and Leona Ruth; his cousin Agnes Negra; and also, Patti Lerner and Ron Negra. He was also cherished by several loving nieces, nephews.
