He is survived by: his children, Walter (Laura), Joanne and Jeffrey (Denise); his wife Lena Romano; his grandchildren, Brendan (Rachel), Kevin (Hillary) and Elizabeth (Peter Hart); and his sisters-in-law, Angelina Romano and Mary Romano. He is also survived by 1 great granddaughter, and 2 step-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
