We bid farewell to Ruth C. Byrne of North Brunswick, New Jersey, born in Metuchen, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 5, 2024 at the age of 93. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Byrne; her parents, John Brinckmann and Ruth Brinckmann; her brother John Brinckmann Jr.; her sister-in-law Claudia Brinckmann; and her son-in-law Paul Steinberg.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Byrne, Susan Steinberg, Kathleen Woodbury (Gregory) and Kevin Byrne (Katherine); her grandchildren, Kimberly Westenhiser (Rob), Julianne Woodbury (Andrea), Brian Steinberg, Melissa Steinberg, Brandon Byrne, Colin Byrne and Andrew Byrne; her great grandchildren, Dylan Westenhiser and Jayde Bittenmaster; and her nephew Ricky Brinckmann.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home of North Brunswick (555 Georges Rd, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's RC Church (94 Somerset St, New Brunswick, NJ 08901). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Hillside Cemetery of Metuchen Lincol.
