He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Harris (Drayton) and Rudolph Harris, Sr.; his siblings, Kevin Harris, Robin Woodley (Gene), Joanne Harris of Delaware and Marchelle of Yonkers, N. Y.; his brother-in-law Paul Statum (Bunyun); his sister Carol Statum (Peaches); and his aunt Delores Hawkins of Annapolis Md.
He is survived by: his wife Jovana Harris (Gibson); his children, Canice Harris of New Brunswick, Allurra Harris of Jersey City, Jemai Gibson (Mimi), Justice Gibson (Bird) of Berlin, N. J and Chad Harris of New York City; his grandchildren, Ki'hire Harris and Paris Johnson; his brother Jeffrey Harris (Donna) of Harker Heights; and his close friends, Rev. Jimmie Gordon, Theodore "Ted" Moore and Raymond Lockhart.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to the Lustgarten Foundation - Pancreatic Cancer Research.
