He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Simko and Anna Simko (Patlonick); and his daughter Joanne E. "Josie" Simko. He is survived by: his wife Carol Simko (Frazee); his children, Steven J. Simko (Jennifer) of Shelby Township, Jeffry P. Simko of San Francisco, California and Susan A. Simko of Basking Ridge; his brother John Simko of Hillsboro, Missouri; and his granddaughters, Sarah B. Simko of Ann Arbor and Stephanie A. Simko of Henrico, Virginia..
