He was predeceased by: his father John F. McBride, Sr.. He is survived by: his brothers, Robert McBride (Susan Sofran) of Woodbury and Jeffrey McBride (Cheryl) of Monroe Township; his nephew David McBride; and his niece Maggie McBride.

In lieu in flowers, the family suggests memorial donations can be made to the Metuchen Library.
