She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Higinbotham and Elizabeth Higinbotham. She is survived by: her brothers, Bill Higinbotham of Long Valley and Jim Higinbotham of North Carolina; her nieces, Alison, Nicole, Sierra, Samantha and Kelly; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aurora, Blair, Liam and Robert.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jean's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
